A Survey on Double-Speed Video Viewing (2024) was conducted among men and women aged 20-69 nationwide. In recent years, more and more content has become available through video distribution services, and people may watch videos at double-speed with an eye on time performance (typa). In this survey, we asked respondents about their experience of watching video content at double-speed, genres and scenes they watch at double-speed, their awareness of watching videos at double-speed, and video content they would like to watch at lower speeds.

*Video content: Recorded TV programs and content on video distribution services such as YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, and Netflix.
