Basic Information and General Services
What are the services offered by Cross Marketing?
Cross Marketing is a company that supports clients' decision-making through data analysis and consulting, with a focus on marketing research. We possess one of the largest research panel networks in Japan, enabling us to collect data quickly and accurately. We also provide one-stop services from organizing marketing issues and research design to analysis and reporting, providing powerful support for marketing decision-making. What industries do you support?
We conduct research in a wide variety of industries, including consumer goods, food and beverage, IT and telecommunications, finance and insurance, automotive, medical and healthcare, gaming and leisure, and government and academia. What are the results and examples from each industry?
Cross Marketing has a track record of more than 10,000 surveys per year and more than 5,000 clients in a wide range of industries, including business, government, and academia. For specific industries in which we receive many inquiries, you can download a document listing our achievements and case studies for each industry free of charge by clicking on "Request for Documents". For industries not listed, please contact us, and our staff will be happy to introduce you to a private case study on our website tailored to your company's needs.
I am requesting a survey for the first time. What is the process after the request?
Normally, the process proceeds as follows: (1) interviews → (2) survey design → (3) survey implementation → (4) data tabulation/analysis → (5) report delivery. Since items (1) through (5) can be customized, it is also possible to request only items (3) and (4). For details, please refer to the Internet Research section.
If you make a request using the "Request for Consultation and Estimate" form, we will discuss the details of your inquiry with you.

What is the estimated cost of the survey?
For online research, the fee starts at 90,000 yen (tax not included). For QiQUMO, a self-administered survey tool, research can be conducted at an even lower cost. Please refer to the cost estimates at the bottom of each service page for a list of services.
Can I request only a part of the survey process instead of the full service?
Yes, we can provide full service as well as support only where needed, depending on your marketing challenges. (For details, see here. )
For example, you may want us to provide only raw data without reporting, or you may want to use your own employees as moderators. Please contact us first by filling out the inquiry and quote request form.
Do you have a survey plan that can be implemented on a low budget?
Yes, we can propose the best plan for your budget, such as a survey starting at tens of thousands of yen. In addition, we offer the QiQUMO self-administered questionnaire service for as little as 11 yen per sample per question.

Do you have a company brochure or service materials for Cross Marketing?
Yes, you can download them free of charge from the Request for Document page.

We would like to use the results of a survey we ordered from Cross Marketing in our own releases, products/services, sales materials, advertisements, etc. How should we indicate the credit?
Please be sure to include your company's name and our company's name as shown below so that it is clear your company took the lead in conducting the survey.
Please note that any description implying the survey was conducted solely by our company as a third-party organization is considered misleading.

About the Cross Marketing Monitor
What is a Cross Marketing panelist?
A panelist is a survey participant who can take part in research. Cross Marketing has built a large panel network, the largest in Japan, with approximately 12.85 million panelists (as of February 2025).
It is also possible to specify criteria for survey targets and conduct more narrowly focused surveys. See Panel Information for details.
If you would like to know how many panelists match your specific criteria, or if you would like a proposal regarding selection methods and conditions suited to your objectives, please contact us via the form.
Is it possible to conduct surveys in addition to the Cross Marketing panel?
Yes, we can conduct surveys on other panels in addition to our own. For example, you may wish to survey your own members or customer list, or conduct an employee satisfaction survey. Please see Survey ASP for more details.

Is the response data from the panelists reliable?
The reliability of survey results depends largely on the quality of the panelists. We have established quality standards for "panel quality control," "questionnaire and screen production quality control," and "system quality control" to ensure that only high-quality response data is provided.

What incentives are available to panelists? When will they be granted?
Each of the many survey distribution media we partner with offers points, rewards, or other incentives in exchange for survey participation.
The type of reward, as well as the timing and method of distribution, are determined by each medium when you register as a survey monitor. Please contact the respective media for details.
Use of Our Content, Interviews, and Inquiries
Is there any free content available?
Yes. We provide the latest market research reports,columns, seminars, archived videos, and glossaries to support your marketing efforts. ※Switch to Japanese
All content is free to access, and you can download research reports and cross-tabulation tables.
Can I quote or reprint content published by Cross Marketing?
Only free research reports may be quoted or reprinted. Please be sure to include our company name when citing the report.
For example:
"According to a survey conducted by Cross Marketing, a marketing research company..."
"According to research conducted by Cross Marketing, Inc."
"Research on ●● by Cross Marketing, Inc."
Please contact us in advance if you create your own graphs based on our survey results. We will check them for consistency.
Content other than free research reports (e.g., videos, column articles) may not be quoted or reproduced. Please be aware of this.

Is it possible to have Cross Marketing conduct an independent survey on a theme of my choice? Also, is it possible to ask you to plan a research theme that will make our service area/products/targets rank No. 1?
