Cross Marketing was founded in 2003 with a focus on the online research business.
As a marketing partner to our clients, we continue to expand our business and provide a variety of solutions.
Here you will find a brief history of the company from its founding to the present.

 

2003 - 2005

Founding Period

With internet-based research as the core business,
Cross Marketing Inc. was established in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
Started business with 3 members, including CEO Igarashi.

April 2003

Establishment of Cross Marketing Inc.

October 2003

Formed a business alliance with Axiv.com Inc.

January 2004

Obtained Privacy Mark certification

2006 - 2007

First Growth Period

Launched REAL CROSS (now Cross Finder2), a simple tabulation application

May 2006

Capital and business alliance with EC Navi Corporation (currently VOYAGE GROUP Corporation) and Research Panel Inc.

2008 - 2011

Listing of stock and business expansion

Number of employees exceeds 100. Listed on Mothers,
Business collaboration with VOYAGE GROUP Co.
Started IT solution business.

September 2008

Launched "Eikyufumetsu Research," an Internet research service, in cooperation with Credit Saison and Research Panel.

October 2008

Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market.

May 2009

Research and Survey Inc. becomes a group company, and offline research begins in earnest.
Became a member of the Japan Marketing Research Association (JMRA)

September 2010

(Launched joint development of a hybrid version of CORE, a comprehensive lifestyle survey system for consumers, with R&D Co.

January 2011

Opened the West Japan Sales Office of Cross Marketing Inc.

2012 - 2017

Overseas expansion and grouping

Awarded the 10th Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited Japan Technology Fast 50, a ranking of technology companies by growth rate.

June 2013

Established Cross Marketing Group Inc. Transitioned to a holding company structure. Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market.

November 2013

Cross Marketing Group Inc. makes Util Inc. a consolidated subsidiary.

May 2014

Head office relocated to Tokyo Opera City Tower in Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo

November 2014

Cross Marketing Group Inc. acquires shares of Kadence International Business Research Pte. Ltd. in Singapore

February 2015

Cross Marketing Group Inc. makes Research and Development Inc. a consolidated subsidiary

October 2015

Cross Marketing Group Inc. establishes a local subsidiary, Cross Marketing (Thailand) Co.
(currently Kadence International (Thailand) Co.

November 2015

Cross Marketing Group Inc. makes Jupiter MR Solutions Co., LTD (Thailand) its subsidiary

Cross Marketing Group, Inc. acquires marketing business from Japan Publicity, Inc,
Establishes Cross Marketing Group USA, Inc. in the U.S.

2018 - Present

Cross Marketing Group Changes Its Listing to the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange

Launched Cross-UX, an agile UX research service Supporting the improvement of digital customer experience value - jointly provided by Cross Marketing and Pop Insight

October 2020

Completes merger with Cross Marketing Inc. and Research and Development Inc.

June 2021

Became an official partner of LINE Research provided by LINE Corporation

December 2021

Launched CrossData, a customer success BI system that realizes customer-oriented CRM activities.

March 2022

Completed the merger with Cross Marketing Inc. and Shoppers Eye Co.
